Sugar Grove Area Residents Can Now Receive Real Time Public Safety Messages Through Nixle

Our agencies have partnered with Nixle to implement its Community Notification System to alert residents in real-time for localized emergency situations and relevant community advisories.

As a resident, there are several simple ways to register:

For residents in, or near, the Village of Sugar Grove to receive emergency notifications and local alerts text SUGARGROVE to 888777 from your mobile phone.
If you reside outside of the Village of Sugar Grove but are within the Sugar Grove Fire Protection District (Such as Fairfield Way, Foxmoor and Creekview Estates Subdivisions) and wish to receive emergency notifications and local alerts from the Fire Protection District text SUGARFIRE to 888777 from your mobile phone.
Go to the Village of Sugar Grove (www.sugargroveil.gov) and/or the Sugar Grove Fire Protection District Website (www.sugargrovefire.com) and sign up via the Nixle Widget

Once registered, residents will receive a confirmation text to their mobile device. Residents may also customize their alert settings by going to www.nixle.com and creating a User Profile.
